1. Post No.1: (i) Master’s Degree in Physics or Mathematics or Chemistry or Meteorology or Atmospheric Science / Atmospheric Physics or Oceanography or Geophysics (with Geology) with at least 60% marks. (ii) 11 years experience
2. Post No.2: (i) Master’s Degree in Electronics / Instrumentation with 60% marks or B.E / B.Tech (Electronics / Instrumentation / Electrical / Telecommunication / Mechatronics) with 60% marks (ii) 11 years experience
3. Post No.3: (i) Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Computer Applications / IT  with 60% marks or B.E / B.Tech (Computer Science / IT) with 60% marks (ii) 11 years experience
